What is a podcast?
Kinda like a radio show but online. And with less banal wittering or shit music. Artist, speaker, and wanker, Mr Bingo says this of podcasts: “You know those groups of people who talk extra loudly on trains in the hope that the rest of the carriage will overhear their conversation? That's basically what podcasts are.” He may have a point.

Why is Martin always so happy? Is it false positivity?
That is a fair question! However, Martin’s had somewhat of a spiritual reinvention, whereby he now practises a life of non-attachment. He, therefore, sees the world differently. His happiness is 100% genuine. Though, by his own admission, it’s subject to the same Universal laws of impermanence as everything else. Therefore, paradoxically, sometimes, he’s not happy. But then, in knowing this, he is. Do you see?
Are the How To Die Happy podcast and book connected?
They are indeed. The How To Die Happy podcast was created by Martin O’Toole in late 2021. In February of 2023, he published his first book, also called How To Die Happy: curated wisdom, stories, and utilities for the art of living.
